The hostel at Waiwas was impressive with its spacious and inviting common area where guests can socialize, swim, and relax. I had the pleasure of meeting fellow travelers and enjoyed the social atmosphere without it being a party hostel. The capsules provided the privacy I needed, and there was ample storage space for my belongings. The availability of showers and toilets was never an issue, and I never had to wait. The complimentary breakfast, either an omelet or a pancake with fruits, was a nice touch. The owner was incredibly welcoming and even organized my visa extension, ensuring I didn't miss my morning flight. And of course, Fiona, the golden retriever, made my stay even more delightful with her cuddles. I highly recommend this hostel as my two-week stay here was fantastic.
Although my stay at Waiwas was enjoyable, there were a few drawbacks. The dorm rooms were in poor condition, contrary to what the pictures portrayed.

I had an amazing stay at Waiwas hostel in Kuta. I stayed for a week and found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner was also very sociable and made me feel welcome. The location is convenient, with plenty of restaurants and bars just a 5-minute walk away. The breakfast options, especially the eggs and pancakes, were delicious and the swimming pool was a great amenity. I also appreciated being able to rent a scooter through the hostel to explore the nearby beaches. The hostel was clean and the beds were really comfortable. I had a fantastic stay at Waiwas and would definitely recommend it.
Totally recommend this hotel.

They even helped me get a scooter at a lower price than other places. the free breakfast, although only available in Western style, was delicious. the hostel had great vibes, with fun and friendly people. I made many new friends during my stay. the facilities were clean and well-equipped, and the communal area was a great spot to hang out. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely return if I visit the area again. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all! 💯👌.

Without a doubt, the highlight of my stay was the refreshing outdoor swimming pool at this accommodation. It was like a little oasis in paradise, allowing me to cool off and unwind after a long day of exploring the area. The crystal-clear water was simply tempting, inviting me to take a dip at any hour of the day. I felt like I was swimming in a private lagoon, surrounded by tropical plants and heavenly tranquility.

I got great value for my money at Waiwas. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with individual capsules that had lockers, plugs, and reading lights. The location was perfect, close to Mama Mama Pizza and Warung Flora, and the staff treated me like a friend, always smiling and ready to help. Special shout out to Yanti and Wais for making my stay so welcoming and enjoyable.
The breakfast option could be improved by providing a water dispenser for guests to refill their bottles, instead of having to buy new ones. However, they do offer inexpensive water bottles at their bar, so it's not a big issue.

Rooms were spacious and clean, with individual capsules that had lockers, plugs, and reading lights. the common area had a beautiful pool and comfy bean bags to relax on. the staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed and part of the family.
The air conditioning was limited and only available from 8pm to 7am, and even then, it was barely noticeable. the showers were also a letdown, with only three available for a twenty-person dorm.
